Call her Sherlock or Columbo, Jennifer enjoys puzzles and finding solutions for her clients and those around her. From her travel experiences, she has honed her ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing situations. And, “just one more thing”, she uses her different communication skills in her work to better understand her clients’ needs and help them move closer to achieving their goals and dreams.

Jennifer received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was published in and served as an Editor for the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. She also received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, where she wrote her thesis analyzing the correlation among political systems, levels of corruption, and economic reliance on natural resources.
During law school, Jennifer served as a judicial intern for a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and studied Chinese law abroad at Tsinghua University in Beijing. As an undergraduate, Jennifer also studied abroad in Egypt and Qatar.
After law school, Jennifer worked as a corporate associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York City, where she represented leading Wall Street investment banks, institutional investors, and commercial banks in public and private capital market transactions. The capital market transactions included debt offerings and various types of loans in connection with acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, and other multi-billion dollar financing transactions. Jennifer also was selected to work on secondment as in-house counsel for a bulge bracket investment bank in New York City.
Prior to returning to the District and joining IPB, Jennifer worked as a private client services associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York City, where she counseled high net worth individuals and families on estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration. Notably, this included advising clients on the design and implementation of sophisticated and tax-efficient strategies and personalized plans for wealth transfer to future generations and charitable organizations.
Jennifer has been invited to serve as a panelist at various discussions and conferences for women in finance or women on Wall Street and enjoyed being involved in providing pro bono legal services, including estate planning and will drafting, through various organizations while in New York City. She continues to serve as a member of the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Trusts & Estates Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
Jennifer enjoys playing instruments and intramural sports, along with learning new skills, cooking, volunteering around the community through her church, and hiking throughout the DMV.
