My name is Ben Grosz and I am a candidate for the DC Bar Law Practice Management Section Steering Committee.

I practice law at Ivins, Phillips, & Barker, a boutique tax and employee benefits firm. I’m interested in serving because I believe attorneys tend to enter the profession lacking non-legal “soft” skills important to success.  My prior careers (starting my own financial planning company and working in business strategy at Capital One) provide me with valuable experience outside the legal industry. As an associate at a thirty-attorney firm, where I have successfully developed new clients, I think I can bring a unique perspective to the steering committee.
