IPB Attorneys Offer Tax Strategy Presentation to Entrepreneurs

On February 15, Benjamin L. Grosz and Jonathan L. Holbrook presented on tax strategies to an audience of entrepreneurs in creative fields.  The session was hosted by Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA) and formed part of the Creative Entrepreneurs Series, alongside programs on copyrights and trademarks, business entity formation, contracts and licensing, negotiation and grants.  Benjamin Takis, Founding Attorney of Takis Nonprofit Law PLLC, co-presented with the Ivins attorneys.

Partnering with WALA to support the program were the Gateway Community Development Corporation, the Creative Edge Collaborative and the Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council, including the Prince George’s Film Office and DPARK311.

Earlier this month, Grosz and Holbrook were joined by Heléna M. Klumpp in presenting to members of Women in Film & Video of Washington, D.C.  Ivins, Phillips & Barker is proud of the pro bono contributions of our attorneys.
