Ivins Attorney Teaches "Tax Strategies" Class in Pro Bono Partnership
PDFBenjamin L. Grosz co-taught a program discussing tax fundamentals and strategies as part of the “Legal Issues for Creative Entrepreneurs Series” sponsored by Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA). Ben was joined on the program faculty by attorney Benjamin Takis (Founding Partner, Tax-Exempt Solutions, PLLC). The program provided an overview of the federal income tax system from an individual and small business perspective. It offered recommendations about different legal entity business structures, information about payroll taxes, and a discussion of several advanced federal tax issues relevant to artists in the Washington, DC area. The program was presented as part of the 2017 WALA Creative Entrepreneurs Series.
