Ben Grosz and Jon Holbrook Offer Tax Planning Insights to Small Business Owners at Pro Bono Program

Ivins attorneys Benjamin L. Grosz and Jonathan L. Holbrook co-presented a class discussing tax strategies as part of the “Legal Issues for Creative Entrepreneurs Series” sponsored by Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA).  They were joined on the program by attorney Benjamin Takis (Founding Partner, Tax-Exempt Solutions, PLLC).  The presentation addressed tax issues and opportunities facing individual entrepreneurs and small businesses in the creative fields, and covered subjects such as legal entity structuring choices, payroll taxes and changes stemming from the legislation commonly known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.  Grosz and Holbrook previously spoke on the topic with WALA.  Ivins, Phillips & Barker is proud to support the pro bono efforts of our attorneys, in addition to our long-standing financial support of the D.C.
