Jamie Brown Speaks to TEI's New England Chapter

IPB partner Jamie Brown spoke to the New England chapter of the Tax Executives Institute on April 4. Jamie presented to the group in Needham, MA, on the subject of attorney client privilege – specifically as it pertains to tax departments. Today’s tax departments and their advisors put more in writing than ever, and the legal protections against disclosure of sensitive communications are poorly understood, difficult to attach, and fragile.

Jamie is frequent presenter on the subject of privilege and other issues related to tax controversy; he will be speaking next at TEI's Audits and Appeals Conference in May.
