IPB Partners Present to TEI Dallas Chapter on Attorney/Client Privilege Issues

IPB partners Jeff Moeller and Jamie Brown spoke to the Dallas chapter of the Tax Executives Institute at their September meeting. Jeff and Jamie presented to the group on the subject of attorney client privilege – specifically as it pertains to tax departments. Today’s tax departments and their advisors put more in writing than ever, and the legal protections against disclosure of sensitive communications are poorly understood, difficult to attach, and fragile.

Jeff and Jamie are both regular speakers at TEI events and to other in-house tax audiences. They will next be speaking together on the topic of privilege at TEI's 2019 Mergers & Acquisitions Seminar in Las Vegas, November 18-19.
